Keiraville Branch of the Country Women’s Association Wollongong
🌿 Community Planting Day – Bellambi
We’re excited to be partnering with Wollongong City Council for a relaxed community planting morning as part of our branch’s environmental focus on the Glossy Black Cockatoo and its habitat.
Bellambi is a place of rich natural beauty and layered history—something of a “diamond in the rough” that invites exploration. Alongside the planting, visitors may enjoy a walk along the beach, take in the historic jetty, and reflect on the stories of shipwrecks along the reef. The area also features the lagoon, rock pools, surf club, cycleways, pay public transport and sites of Aboriginal cultural significance, offering a lovely opportunity to connect with the landscape in a relaxed and meaningful way.
