Meet the speakers Conquering Fear, Building Courage Talk
Discover how Stacy Jane, the Founder/CEO of awarding winning charity, Escabags, feared, fought and fled domestic violence. Stacy shares how she turned those negatives years into an extraordinary support organisation for women and women with children.

Darren Wagner is a psychotherapist, social justice advocate and a former police officer with a lived experience of complex post-traumatic stress disorder. He has extensive experience working with those suffering from mass trauma after supporting his community of Sandy Hook, United States through the aftermath of a school shooting.

Darren’s humorous and upbeat style offers a delightful composite of experience, research and practical application that promotes self-compassion, wellness and hope for those dealing with life’s inevitable traumas. He believes that where there is humour there is hope, where there is laughter there is life.

As an inspirational international public speaker and educator, Darren uses his personal and vicarious interactions with tragedy, as well as his time as a patient of mental health services, to normalise the human experience of trauma.
