Description
Angela and Michelle began The Creative Annex with the aim of building a place where people can have the opportunity to be creative. When you visit, you will discover a relaxed working art and craft studio, where you can explore and learn, discovering what creativity means for you.
The Creative Annex are travelling south to run workshops for children aged 5 to 12 years. With a total of 6, two hour workshops, we will engage our holidaying, small folk with art and fun. Drawing, painting, printing, clay models, construction and weaving.

Mini-beasts in colour & 3D
- Mon, 7 Jul, 9:30am - 11:30am
- Holiday fun for children aged 5 to 8 and 9 to 12 years. Using models of insects children will draw insects using pen and coloured ink. Children will then create their own models of the insects using air-dry clay.

Botanica in 3D and clay
- Mon, 7 Jul, 12:30pm - 2:30pm
- Holiday fun for children aged 5 to 8 and 9 to 12 years.Using collected plants and flowers children will draw the botanica using pen and coloured ink.Children will then create their own models of botanica using air-dry clay.

Plush Faces

- Holiday fun for children aged 5 to 8 and 9 to 12 years.Creating colourful plush creatures through drawing and gluing fabric. These fun plush faces will then be mounted on a canvas, ready to display. Perhaps making their own Lubaba face!

Weaving Magic

- Holiday fun for children aged 5 to 8 and 9 to 12 years. Discovering the magic of weaving, children with print bright patterns on a gelli-plate. These uniques papers will be used to weave a colourful art work.

Animal Caper

- Holiday fun for children aged 5 to 8 and 9 to 12 years.Children will explore printing, using gelli-plates to create coloured papers. These papers will be used to collage images of Australian animals.

Mini Worlds Construction

- Holiday fun for children aged 5 to 8 and 9 to 12 years.Using cardboard, fabric and timber off cuts, children will create a mini-world of building, vehicles and plants.
