    Description

The Illawarra Edible Garden Trail is back for the third year running!

The Trail will take place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of November between 10am-3pm, between Helensburgh and Shell Cove. This event is in partnership with Food Fairness Illawarra and Healthy Cities Australia, with thanks to sponsor Gilly’s Kitchen Garden.

    WHAT?

The Trail is a weekend to visit a variety of edible gardens across the Illawarra from private sunny backyards to balconies and verges, local farms, community and school gardens and everything in between. On the Trail you can expect a diverse spectrum of garden types, including permaculture focused designs, native habitat sanctuaries, small hobby farms and local producers, and community minded spaces! The trail aims to reflect the reality of gardening with seasonal changes, the unpredictability of mother nature and the general chaos that life throws in the mix.

This is a weekend to meet like minded people, troubleshoot your growing challenges, get ideas for your space and connect with the community around you!

    WHERE:

Tickets will give you access to a collection of edible gardens between Helensburgh to Shell Cove. Note: some gardens are open both days, whilst others will be open Saturday OR Sunday. Garden addresses and a map will be emailed to ticket holders one week prior to the event.

    TICKETS:

Tickets can be purchased through Humanitix, which can be found through the Food Fairness Illawarra Website. Please note tickets can only be purchased for both days, not individual days. If you would like to visit only one garden you can purchase an individual garden ticket for $5. Tickets will give you access to all gardens. Funds raised from ticket sales cover the costs of delivering the event.
