Childcare for Babies, Toddlers & Preschoolers

ECTARC Wallaroo is a 44-place early education and care service, with three dedicated rooms designed around the different needs and stages of children aged 0–5.

The 0–2 years room provides a calm, nurturing space with smaller group sizes and its own outdoor area. The 2–3 years room has a strong focus on communication and early language development, while the 3–5 years room encourages independence, responsibility and skills for the transition to school.

Play-Based Early Learning

Children learn through play, exploration, sensory experiences and connection with their environment, with educators creating experiences around children's individual development, interests and needs.

The service offers three indoor and two outdoor learning spaces filled with thoughtful resources designed to encourage curiosity and discovery.

Natural Outdoor Play Spaces

Wallaroo's natural outdoor environment gives children plenty of opportunities for active, imaginative and adventurous play.

The older children's shared outdoor space includes a wooden deck, sandpit, veggie garden, rope swing and rope ladder, while babies and toddlers have their own dedicated outdoor area surrounded by trees and shrubs.
