SCIENCE SPROUTS FOR AGES 0-5 - STEAM Playdates for mini scientists

Give your little one a head start in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths!

Join us Thursdays (during school terms from 9.30am - 10.30am) and give your mini scientist aged 0-5 a head start in early years STEM! Activities vary each week and may include science experiments, sensory play, artworks, puppets, construction, playdough, story time, parachute fun and much more!

Doors will now open at 9am so little ones can explore the exhibits before we open to the public and school excursions.

Expanded 60min program will start at 9:30am and finish at 10:30am. BOOK NOW HERE

Thursday 31st July - Penguins & Polar Bears

Bundle up for a chilly science adventure as we explore icy experiments, snowy play, and the amazing animals of the Arctic and Antarctic - like penguins and polar bears!

Thursday 7th August - Animal Adventure

Jump into the world of animal homes as we explore different habitats through hands-on play, fun stories, and puppet pals!

Thursday 14th August - Up, Up & Away!

Get ready to soar as we build flying machines to test in our vertical wind tunnel. Join us for some sky-high fun for little pilots and engineers!

Thursday 21st August - Vehicles & Transport

From cars to trains and planes to boats, come explore how things move with hands-on fun, stories, and creative play all about vehicles and transport!

Thursday 28th August - Numbers & Shapes

Join us for a fun-filled session of counting, building, and discovering as we explore numbers, patterns, and shapes! through hands-on play, stories, and creative activities perfect for curious little minds!

Thursday 4th September - Dinosaurs & Volcanoes

Rumble, roar, and erupt as we dig into prehistoric play! Explore fossils, blast a mini fizzy volcanoes, walk like a dinosaur and much more!

Thursday 11th September - 3 Little Pigs

Design, build, and experiment a structure just like the 3 Little Pigs. Huff, puff, and test your creations using fans, hairdryers and leaf blowers in this fun fairy tale engineering adventure!

Thursday 18th September - Robots!

Beep, boop, build and play as we explore robots through drawing, building, and simple coding - perfect for curious little minds learning how robots move and think!

Thursday 25th September - Planetarium Adventure

We are heading to our Planetarium for a special out-of-this-world adventure! Little astronauts can explore the wonders of stars.
