Give your little one a head start in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths!
Join us Thursdays (during school terms from 9.30am - 10.30am) and give your mini scientist aged 0-5 a head start in early years STEM! Activities vary each week and may include science experiments, sensory play, artworks, puppets, construction, playdough, story time, parachute fun and much more!
Doors will now open at 9am so little ones can explore the exhibits before we open to the public and school excursions.
Expanded 60min program will start at 9:30am and finish at 10:30am.

Thursday 23rd October: Bubble-tastic Science
Let's head into our Science Theatre and explore the amazing world of bubbles! Make own blowers and wands to take home! Who can create the longest bubble snake? Are you brave enough to put your head in a giant bubble?
Thursday 30th October: Dragons & Castles
Step into a world of knights, castles and dragons! Little inventors will explore medieval science as they build mini catapults, help create the ultimate cardboard-box castle and much more!
Thursday 6th November: Human Body
Little doctors can explore fingerprints, xrays, bones and organs, whilst discovering the fascinating journey takes through the human body.
Thursday 13th November: Light & Colour
Explore the magic of light and colour as we experiment with kaleidoscopes, rainbow crafts, coloured water, prisms and more, discovering how colours and patterns come to life.
Thursday 20th November: "Where the Forest Meets the Sea"
Inspired by Jeannie Baker's classic picture book Where the Forest Meets the Sea, we will explore our outdoor gardens to collect natural materials, create a collaborative mural, and make nature collages and sculptures to take home.
Thursday 27th November: "There's A Sea in My Bedroom"
Dive into hands-on ocean fun with sand art, imaginatic play, sea-creature puppets and more as we find out if there really is a 'sea' in our bedroom!
Thursday 4th December: "Who Sank the Boat?"
This week we'll explore floating and sinking through splashy science experiments and playful watery fun! Meet the animal characters, test what floats and see if you can figure out who really sank the boat!
Thursday 11th December: Minibeasts
Join us for a bug-tastic adventure as we explore the world of creepy crawlies! From fluttering butterflies to busy ants, your little explore will discover the wonders of insects through puppets, free play and craft.
Thursday 18th December: Planetarium Adventure
We are heading to our Planetarium for a special out-of-this-world adventure! Little astronauts can explore the wonders of stars, planets, moons, galaxies and get ready to ask big questions about Space!
