    Description

The Lord Mayors School Starter Picnic is a way to celebrate children who will be starting school in 2026.

The transition to school brings out many different emotions for the whole family, and this day is a great opportunity for children to be proud and excited for the next step in their educational lives. With the transition to school being the most important transition that a child will make in their educational lives.

The day is full of many different fun activities for children to engage in, with lots of early childhood professionals on hand to make the celebration enjoyable.

On the day there will be the opportunity to meet Billy Backpack, the Transition to School mascot and Bright Spark the Paint the Gong ReAD mascot. There will also be a coffee van and sausage sizzle available for purchase or bring along your own picnic to enjoy.

This is a FREE Event but you need to register your attendance here.
