For more information and to get in contact with our team we have a few options depending on your preferred way to communicate:
What to Expect After making an enquiry?
Our Clinical Psychologist will be in contact with you within one business day to arrange a time for a 10-15 minute chat to learn more about your concerns and to discuss options moving forward.
We offer this service free of charge because it is important to us that every client that we see is offered the right assessment at the right time.
How do the Assessments work?
The Child Assessment Clinic's comprehensive assessments involve clinical interviews with parents, gathering information from school/daycare and involved therapists. The assessments also include standardised psychometric tests with the child or young person. Our clinicians are skilled in the administration of a range of measures including:
Autism Assessment:
Cognitive & Learning Assessment
ADHD Assessment
Developmental & Early Childhood Assessment
The team are flexible in our approach to how assessments are conducted because we know that there is no 'one size fits all'. Generally the comprehensive assessments are completed over one appointment that can last for 4-6 hours. From each assessment you receive a comprehensive report detailing assessment results, diagnosis (if applicable) and recommendations to support your child. The assessment includes comprehensive feedback with our clinicians where you have the opportunity to ask any questions. Clinical psychologists can formally diagnose and our reports are often used to support applications for NDIS funding.
