Shellharbour Council runs Learn to Swim Programs across all three of their council pools.

The programs are offered at Oak Flats Heated Pool all year round and at Albion Park and Warilla Pools during the January school holidays only.

Shellharbour Council Learn to Swim and Squad Program

• Our morning classes are aimed at 6 months - 5 years running from Monday - Friday.
• All our weekday classes start at 9am.
• Our Saturday mornings cater for all ages from babies and beginners to mini squads.
• We also have afternoon classes from Monday to Friday. These classes are aimed at school aged children but are not limited as we will take children as young as 4 years old in our afternoon classes depending on ability.
• We also offer Aqua Aerobics, Inflatable pool parties (available for private parties) and pool open days!
• Babies Classes start at 10am. These classes are about water familiarisation and are a fun way to introduce your baby to water. Singing and having fun is a must when you come to one of our parents and babies classes.
• All learn to swim and squads run in conjunction with NSW school terms and the cost is based on a ten week program (if however a school term is less, the price will be adjusted accordingly).

Holiday Intensive Swim Programs

During the school holidays we offer intensive swimming programs. These intensives will run over 5 or 9 days straight. Intensives are a great way to pick up skills that the swimmer may have forgotten, if they haven’t swam for a while or a great way to bring out a timid swimmer.

During the January school holidays we offer Intensives at our cold water pools at a fraction of the cost of the heated pool (Warilla and Albion Park Pool).

We are a silver accredited Swim School with Austswim as listed on the Austswim Australia website.
