Nurture in Nature runs a weekly outdoor class called Nature's Playground. This class runs every Friday at 9:30am in the /Local Directory/Family Health/Medical Centres/Northern Illawarra; region. The class is aimed at 2-5 year olds.

During these classes caregivers and children are invited to connect and interact with nature through a variety of fun, educational and engaging activities. The class is run by a fully qualified and enthusiastic teacher.

Introductory price for 2013 is $10/class.

A typical class includes several learning components:
An interactive welcome song and activity with 'Kelly the Koala' puppet
Tracking down of a hidden 'discovery box' that contains clues inside about what natural theme we will be focusing the lesson on.
Exploration of this theme through play, games, books and information.
A craft/art activity that links with the theme.
Story book time with 'Reading Roo' a Kangaroo puppet.
Parachute play and music
Unstructured play/exploration
