CareWays offers a broad range of services throughout the Illawarra region for young and old!

Our Community Care Team offer In Home Aged Care such as Domestic Assistance, Personal Care, Meals On Wheels, Transport, Social Support and Respite. Our Neighbourhood Centre Team provide information, referral and support, and work from Koonawarra Community Centre, Thirroul Neighbourhood Centre, Dapto Neighbourhood Centre, and Horsley Community Centre.

We also run a number of free and low-cost leisure groups, annual community events, such as Coffee & Catch Up (community catchup with Food assistance available), Playgroups, and after-school Youth Drop-in. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE!

Thirroul Youth Drop-in
This is a free after-school program for young people aged 10-16 years based at Thirroul Neighbourhood Centre.

The program runs on Wednesdays from 3:00-5.00pm during school terms only, and is a safe place for young people to socialise and develop new skills.

A healthy afternoon tea is provided at every session. We have a great range of activities including card games, books, a pool table, board games, puzzles, arts and crafts, trivia, bingo, and video games. Throughout the term, we offer various youth-friendly information sessions and workshops.
