Fun, inclusive activities for neurodivergent teens aged 13 - 17 these School Holidays!

Valley Youth Supports helps Illawarra youth thrive with inclusive, neuro-affirming 1:1 and group programs designed for fun, friendship, support, connection & growth. You can learn more about the programs, personalised support and care Illawarra-wide offered youth aged 8 - 24 here. Their services proudly embrace individuals with PDA profiles, LGBTQ+ identities, as well as those with mild to moderate/Level 2 ASD, ADHD, ODD, and OCD, embodying the spirit of neurodiversity.

Valley Youth Supports' ‘Get Them Out’ School Holiday Program is for neurodivergent youth aged 13 - 17 and is ADHD, ASD, PDA, LGBTQ+ inclusive. 

*July School Holidays Activities include:  

MONDAY 7th JULY - 3-pass visit to the Aquarium - Wild life - Madame Tussaud's Sydney - Train/Tram - Opal card required

• COST $60 ticket price needs to be paid in advance to secure the price (non-refundable) + LUNCH
• 8 hours of support, 9 am - 4 pm

WEDNESDAY 9th JULY Go-karting  + Colour Step/interactive game floor - BBQ lunch at the park/ball games  

• COST $ TBA - Plus Annual Racing Membership $8 - required by C1 Speed to be able to race

FRIDAY 11th July ART/CRAFT GROUP / PARK ACTIVITIES 

• COST $30 - art materials included

SATURDAY 12th JULY Manga & Anime show in Sydney - Train/Tram - Opal card required - 7 tickets available 

• COST $46 + LUNCH/SPENDING MONEY
• 8 hours of support, 9 am - 4 pm

Additional information about their ‘Get Them Out’ School Holiday Program:

Specialised Support: Our team of trained and skilled support workers will ensure your teen’s safety and unique care needs are met.

Eligibility: Teens aged 13 - 17, mild - moderate/Level 2 with NDIS funding (Core / Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation) at support ratio (Activity-based Transport if we are using our vehicles).

• Flexible Options: Join us for one day or a few days of exciting activities!
• Location Details/meeting points - Illawarra - to be advised, depending on the activity and the majority of the areas people are from.
• Tailored Approach: We connect with you before the program begins to understand your Child’s requirements and support ratio.
• Spots Available: Limited Spots Available.
• Plan-Managed or Self-Managed
• All Groups are supported, plus out-of-pocket activity costs.
