Paint the Gong REaD

Paint the GONG REaD returns to the Warrawong Plaza - come and celebrate at their annual early literacy event, Thursday 14 August, 9.30am - 11.30am.

This is a fun FREE event with a Welcome to Country, Story with the Lord Mayor, musical instruments, singing, Craft and most importantly LOTS OF READING with the children. Our Reading Mascot Bright spark will be there with Billy Backpack – come say hi and join in the fun.

A fun free event for children birth to 5 years, held at the top of the escalators at Dapto Mall. Join our Children’s services staff with musical instruments, singing, craft, toddler play activities and most importantly READING stories.

When you fill up your activity passport hand it in for a bag with some goodies and a children’s book and go into the draw for one of many awesome prizes.
