Childcare for Babies, Toddlers & Preschoolers

ECTARC Alunga has two dedicated rooms, with education and care for children aged 0–3 years and a preschool room for children aged 3–5 years.

Children also enjoy mixed-age outdoor play, giving siblings and children of different ages opportunities to play together, while babies and younger children have access to their own dedicated outdoor space.

Play-Based Early Learning

• Children learn through a carefully planned play-based educational program based on their individual interests, strengths and needs.
• The natural outdoor environment encourages exploration and sensory play, with sandpits, an outdoor play kitchen, water pump, deck and undercover play areas.
• ECTARC Alunga also embraces the Munch & Move program, supporting healthy eating, active play and children's overall wellbeing.

Preschool & Transition to School Program

ECTARC Alunga supports children to develop independence, social skills, confidence and early literacy and numeracy through play-based learning.

Regular excursions to Albion Park Public School also help children become familiar and comfortable with the school environment before they make the transition to Kindergarten.

Extra Support for Children & Families

Families also have access to an in-house Child and Family Practitioner specialising in Circle of Security and Attachment Theory.

They can work alongside families to help strengthen children's learning potential and provide referrals for additional support when needed.

Nutritious Meals Provided

Making busy family life a little easier, an experienced cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals onsite each day, with individual dietary requirements catered for where required.

ECTARC Alunga uses Storypark to keep families connected with their child's learning and experiences. Parents can see photos, observations and updates from educators, providing a window into what their child has been learning and enjoying throughout their day.
