Dr. Kamal completed five years of study at the University of Sydney, earning his dentistry degree, followed by an additional three years and 5,000 hours of specialised orthodontic training, also at the University of Sydney. His extensive academic and professional achievements are further highlighted by his membership in prestigious organisations including the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Orthodontics, the European Orthodontic Society, and the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in Orthodontics.

In addition to his expertise with traditional braces, Dr. Kamal is one of Australia’s rare Platinum Elite Invisalign Providers, recognised for his world-class excellence and patient care.

While South Coast Orthodontics is based in Corrimal, the practice regularly serves patients from across the Illawarra, including Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, Otford, Windang, Maddens Plains, and Cordeaux. Over the decades, Dr. Kamal’s reputation for exceptional orthodontic care has drawn patients from outside the Illawarra, including Sydney, ensuring their braces and Invisalign treatments are personally overseen by Dr. Kamal himself.
