Genea Illawarra has been established since 1994 and gives locals convenient access to world leading assisted reproductive treatment and ovulation tracking services.

We are located in the heart of Wollongong and have patients from Helensburgh to Bega and west to the Southern Highlands and Goulburn. If you live within reasonable driving distance, or can travel on the train, coming to Genea Illawarra clinic for your blood tests may be a more convenient option for you then heading into the Kent St clinic in Sydney city.

We’re within walking distance of Wollongong Railway Station and you’re welcome to make arrangements to come in and meet our nursing team. We can also arrange appointments for you to speak with one of your embryologists (a scientist who looks after your eggs, sperm and embryos) at any stage of your cycle.

Access to our specialised fertility counsellors can also be organised as part of your cycle. Our labs at Genea Illawarra are located within the Wollongong Day Surgery where you will have your procedures including egg collection and embryo transfer; so your precious eggs, sperm and embryos don’t have to travel either. Our embryologists are extensively trained to use our world leading technologies for IVF and ICSI, andrology testing, oocyte, sperm and embryo freezing, and sperm function testing. Services Offered
