The Zig Zag Hub is a collaborative space for Illawarra's young entrepreneurs to connect, grow and learn.
We believe that in today’s world young people need enterprise skills and a growth mindset. These skills will set kids up for life, giving them the tools to become job creators and to excel in whichever area of expertise their passions take them.
Crafted by our expert facilitators, your child’s involvement in the Zig Zag Hub will excel their ability to: imagine creative solutions to problems, communicate clearly and work as a team.
We love to bring out a child’s curiosity and guide them through the early steps of the entrepreneurial journey.
Enterprise skills are:
Problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, collaboration and clear communication and public speaking. It is amazing to see how children develop confidence and become self-reliant through building these skills.
After School Sessions for young people aged 7-15.
Our 1 hour after school sessions run from 4pm-5pm In the sessions, young people will have the opportunity to build their enterprise skills while also developing a business idea. They don’t need a business idea to attend, but if they do have one they will receive tailored help and guidance to develop it. The sessions run in conjunction with school terms. At the end of each term, all of our young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to participate in our Pitch Fest, presenting their idea to an audience of local businesspeople.
