The Illawarra Early Parenting Centre provides parenting and baby support services for families across Wollongong and the Illawarra region. Located within Figtree Private Hospital, the centre offers a calm, welcoming space with newly renovated accommodation and play areas.

Who We Help

We support parents with children aged 28 days to 2 years, offering reliable guidance and personalised care to help you navigate the early stages of parenting.

The team works closely with families to create individualised care plans, combining treatment with group education to build confidence and empower parents.

Postnatal Support for Common Challenges

The centre can help with:

• Sleep and settling issues
• Breastfeeding and feeding difficulties
• Establishing daily routines
• Maternal exhaustion
• Bonding with your baby
• Adjusting to parenting

Intensive Inpatient Program

Struggling with sleep, feeding, or settling? The five-night inpatient program provides a safe, nurturing environment for parents and babies who need extra support, right here in Illawarra.

To join the inpatient program, you’ll need a referral from your GP, Paediatrician, or Child & Family Health Nurse. Speak to your health professional to get started.
