Rocket into Learning Tutoring Services

I am a highly qualified and experienced Primary School teacher who has been teaching for 20 years. I find nothing more thrilling than seeing my students make progress! My goal is to ignite a love of learning in my students by helping them to gain confidence in themselves as learners.

An experienced tutor for both English and Mathematics, I have a results-driven style of teaching with a strong record of success. I am known to challenge students in creative ways to reach untapped potential. My passion, though, is to help students learn to read, write and spell. I am a literacy specialist and my training includes Science of Reading, Phonics, Reading Recovery and Dyslexia training. I would also be willing to discuss establishing daily online reading with students as part of my plan to help children make progress in their reading.

My availability is primarily: Monday and Thursday between 4.30pm and 6.00pm as well as Wednesday between 5.00 and 7.00pm. Other times by negotiation.

Initial tutoring sessions involve assessment and getting to know the student. The rapport I build with my students is the number one tool I have to help them make progress in their learning. Once I know where they are at, I can get started on rocketing their learning.
