Wollongong Art Gallery - Kids Art Classes

Wollongong Art Gallery has a variety of fun programs to nurture your child's curiosity in the arts!

Located in the heart of Wollongong CBD with easy access to great cafes, restaurants, public transport, and parking - it’s a wonderful and unique family activity.

Entry is free, and there are a range of specialised tours, workshops, and programs for kids to enjoy all year round.

This includes our free monthly Junior Art Trail for kids aged 3 to 5 years old, as well as our After School program for primary school students!

Tuesday to Friday, 10am – 5pm
Saturday and Sunday, 12 – 4pm

Junior Art Trail

School Holiday Workshops
Looking for an interesting and creative activity for the school holidays? Our popular workshops invite children to learn and experiment with various art styles and techniques.

Art Smart After School Program
Our after-school program, Art Smart, is for children aged 6 to 12 years old and teaches them new ways to approach art.

Over an eight-week program, children will explore their creativity and expression through fun and stimulating activities!

All lessons are taught by our specialist primary school art teacher who is supported by our volunteers. The program follows a structured lesson plan different from the classroom. Click here to find out more
