Creative Nature & Loose Parts Play for Kids - Workshops by Junkyard Rascals

Regular Play Pop Ups with Junkyard Rascals at Wollongong Botanic Garden!

A giant collection of repurposed and natural materials topped off with big blue blocks, plus the natural wonders of the Wollongong Botanic Garden's Sustainable Garden. There is so much to do; the only limit is imagination. You'll be amazed by what you child creates and how they play, it's different for everyone and they can follow their own interests.

Brilliant for emotional regulation, or kids with any sensory issues, ASD or neurodiversity. There is no defined way to play, so kids can engage in the way that suits them and their needs. Children with a physical disability are welcome.

Details:

• What to wear: Play clothes that can get dirty. Junkyard Rascals play in all weather, so please pack clothes that can withstand a change in weather or the need to change and remember your hats and sunscreen.
• What to bring: Snacks and a water bottle (bubbler near our play space)
• Check-in: Please meet the Junkyard Rascals team near the Garden's Sustainable Garden (map ref: P - 8) - adjacent to the Education Centre.
• This is not a drop-off program, so parents must attend with their child.
