Location. Getting There and Parking

Nowra Treetops Adventure is located at 23 Rock Hill Road, North Nowra, It is the same complex as the Zoo and plenty of parking. About an hour drive from Wollongong.

Activities, Equipment & Accessibility

There is 2 junior courses and 5 tree rope courses with different levels of ability and all including zip lines, rope courses and rickety bridges to push your ability. They also do school holiday sessions. They start with harnessing and training so best to get there a little early. There is lockers for your personal belongings. I suggested to go to the bathroom on the way in as its a long walk for little people to get back there in a rush if they need to.

What Age Kids is it Best for?

All ages from little ones to adults, likely suitable from 4 years up. My 3 year old could have done it but was a little overwhelmed with the height and the fact I wasn’t able to be right beside her all the way. My 6 year old was nervous but after he took the first leap he had so much fun and could have stayed there all day! Myself and my hubby had the absolute best time and was a great challenge and we cant wait to go back and have a climb without the kids.

What to Know Before You Go

It is best to check the height and weight and age restrictions before you go and also closing times as you will need to ensure you leave plenty of time for all the fun you will have. Closed in shoes (sneakers) are a must, long hair tied up. It will go ahead in raining weather so check your radar on the way and only closed during thunderstorms and strong winds

What’s the Cost?

Prices starting from $32 -$55 for kids, $65 adults and $228 for a family pass and It’s worth every cent! Entry fee covers 2.5 hours of climbing. The amount of value and fun you get out of this is amazing, check out the Treetops Adventure Nowra.

What My Kids Most LOVED about this Adventure Park

My son absolutely was thrilled with him self once he was able to conquer the very first climb, being able to do that first zip line was a challenge for him but so rewarding, the pride he had was amazing. My 3 year old was happy to just run around on the ground watching her brother!

When is Best to Visit?

It would be best to visit on a non rainy day (they are open in the rain however!)and being up high I noticed that the wind can play a factor too.

There is a cafe at the Zoo and a first aid office.

Accessible, Inclusive? Is it good for Neurodiverse / ASD children?

This is great for active people and kids, its a great challenge and will really test your ability. It enables you to do what you thought you couldn’t which can be inspiring. I would not say its totally accessible, the dirt track we walked down to get the may not be suitable for all wheelchairs for example..
