Circus Monoxide is Wollongong’s Circus Hub, specialising in circus and joy since 1996. An inclusive and ever evolving centre for high flying, stilt walking, spinning, tumbling, fun-loving entertainers of all ages.

We offer high-quality circus training across a wide range of disciplines including aerial silks, trapeze, tumbling, mini tramp, tightwire, juggling and contortion, and so much more. SCHOOL TERM CLASSES

Led by passionate trainers, we offer classes six days per week. Whether you want to provide your toddler or teen with the opportunity to build confidence and coordination in a non-competitive environment or your looking to improve your own skills in circus arts, we have a multitude of specialised classes to suit.

• Aerials classes: Build strength, balance, and control on silks, trapeze, and lyra, with opportunities to explore rope, Spanish web, and more as you progress. These classes boost flexibility, coordination, and confidence in a supportive, creative space - perfect for all levels and goals.
• Circus Fusion: These fun, fast-paced classes blend juggling, aerials, tumbling, and object manipulation for all ages and skill levels. Younger students enjoy playful exploration with hoops, silks, and games, while older students tackle more advanced techniques. Build strength, creativity, and confidence in a vibrant, supportive space.
• Acrobatics & Adagio: These dynamic classes focus on partner and group work - lifting, balancing, tumbling, and flipping with strength and control. Build core strength, agility, and body awareness while developing trust, teamwork, and confidence in a supportive environment. Great for all levels!
• Tumbling: Learn cartwheels, handstands, and floor acrobatics while building strength, coordination, and confidence. Whether you're a beginner or refining skills, our coaches support every step in a fun, goal-driven environment.
• Microbats: Designed for ages 2-5, these playful classes build strength, balance, and coordination through climbing, tumbling, and circus games. With props, challenges, and imaginative play, kids develop motor skills, confidence, and social awareness - all in a fun, safe, and nurturing space.

At Circus Monoxide, it’s all about fun, freedom, and flying high, without the pressure of competition. Our classes are inclusive, welcoming, and designed to celebrate every win, big or small. We focus on having a great time while building confidence, fitness, creativity, and social skills. There truly is something for everyone, and for school-aged kids, we’re proudly a registered Active Kids and Creative Kids provider.

MICROBATS CLASSES - 2 - 5 Year olds

Microbat Preschool Classes (Ages 2–5) are a joyful, high-energy introduction to movement, creativity, and confidence. Through tumbling, climbing, balancing, throwing, games, and obstacle courses, little ones build strong foundations in gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and body awareness—skills they use every day for running, jumping, sitting, and playing.

With fun circus challenges like juggling and playful props, children also develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, rhythm, timing, and dexterity—supporting important tasks such as drawing, writing, and tying shoes (without even realising they’re learning!).

Beyond physical development, circus play helps preschoolers grow in so many ways:

• Confidence & self-expression – celebrating achievements big and small
• Social skills – teamwork, communication, patience, and turn-taking
• Cognitive development – creativity, problem-solving, and engaging both sides of the brain

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Rain Hail or Shine - The show must go on! Circus Birthdays are designed to be age-appropriate and cover a range of circus skills, games and FUN over the course of the session. Our dedicated Circus trainers will be committed to merrymaking and entertainment for the full 2 hour party duration with exclusive access to the space. So, sit back, relax and enjoy the show! SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Circus skills, new friends, and a place to belong these school holidays 

Our Circus Monoxide school holiday program keeps kids moving, learning, and connected during the holidays, through aerials, tumbling, juggling, games and more - all led by our experienced trainers. 

Our days are structured so that our children have the opportunity to try all things circus as well as having regular breaks. We also have the space for down time where children can colour in or do craft. 

Circus is for everyone, and our holiday program is no different. Every child is welcomed exactly as they are, in a space where their safety and wellbeing come first, and where getting active is fun.
